“Sara Banerji’s view of the world is completely original and vivid… she is always worth reading”
Sara Banerji is the author of thirteen aclaimed novels. Her stories are peopled with vivid characters, whose lives are shot through with magic as well as very real human emotions. They are recounted with a dark humour that can all too easily tip over into horror. Critics describe her voice as ‘original and highly imaginative’, ‘gripping, fluid and confident’.
As well as an author, Sara Banerji is also an acomplished artist. She experiments with media ranging from oils and acrylics to glittering wrapping paper collages.
Sara’s dramatic and emotive sculptures are made from waste paper and wire. She has created several original and commissioned pieces.
Sara teaches creative writing classes every Tuesday in Oxford.
